Liberia: Rape National Emergency
Liberia is in a rape national emergency , over 1,000 rape cases have been reported in these last 10 months, it’s gotten worse during quarantine.
I could never understand why someone could do this to their own family member, friend or even a stranger. It’s like controlling and hurting someone is a joy for them, I honestly find it disgusting that someone could take advantage of someone else, not caring about their consent.
I am praying for the victims, hoping for justice and change, hoping that the laws and those meant to protect keep those vulnerable safe and punish the ones responsible for this cruel act.
