Mosque Mayhem
"What it didn't kill any of them...what kinda crappy bomb is that?"
This was a comment made on CAIR (Council of American Islamic Relations) Facebook page after they shared the news that a Mosque in Bloomington was bombed.
THIS IS MY HOMETOWN YA'LL WHAT THE HECK!
Also heads up the guy who wrote the comment above his name is Joseph Lockhart, mhmm we gunna expose all the haters out here , I mean if you openly hate and don't care who knows if you're an islamophobe I'm not about to hide your identity or anything.
Actually in fact here is the link to the Facebook post CAIR made sharing the extensive list of nasty comments haters have made which includes their name, social security number and their place of residence.....
JK ya'll it doesn't say their social or where they live, I got jokes.
Anyways Bismillah, so it was 5 am Saturday morning, the brothers and sisters at Masjid Darool Farooq are just minding their business getting ready to pray Fajr and all of a sudden BAM! Someone throws a bomb through Sheikh Waleed's window. Alhumdilah no one was hurt or injured, but there were damages to the Sheikh's office.
Apparently people saw someone saw someone running away from the center but they didn't get a glimpse of who it was nor the vehicle they were speeding away in.
I say to whoever threw that bomb "NOT TODAY BOO BOO"! You really thought you could!
YOU CAN'T SCARE US!
Okay well maybe you shook us up a little, but its nothing our community cant handle. There already was a solidarity event for anyone who stood with Muslims the day after the bombing and a campaign has been set up to raise funds to repair the damages. It is beautiful to see how quickly we spring into action and support each other when something like this happens.
May Allah protect us all and strengthen the Muslim Ummah connections through good times and bad!
And to anyone who tries to harm us, harass us or belittle us, you can only do to us what God allows you to and know that God is on our side and we have many supporters who are not Muslim are will stand strong with us.
It is times like now more than ever we need to band together, be openly Muslim, do not be afraid to show others you are Muslim and talk about your beliefs. People are afraid of what they don't know and the information they do get about us is often from incorrect and bias sources. Talk about who you are and where you come from, don't let them think they can bully us into changing who we are!
You won't crush our spirits haters!!!
