Salams ya'll! It has been too long and this will be my second to last post about my journey venturing abroad to the beautiful depths of Europe! I will do one more post about my very short visit, like I was literally there only for a few hours because of a layover, to Paris! But in the meantime read on to hear my adventures in Lisbon, Portugal!

You know honestly, I can't tell you if I liked Lisbon a lot because the photos I took there turned out AHMAZING! Like probably besides Spain they are my favorite to look at! The area we stayed at was super close to walk to all the sites we wanted to see, we actually did not end up taking any public transportation while we were there, the area had a lot of hills though I remember my legs burning because of all the uphill areas we walked to! I guess that's why in Europe everyone looks so fit and healthy!

I think we were there only a day and a half so we basically had only one day to explore and we walked to where this Castle de Sao Jorge area was but the line was too long! So ended up going to this open shopping area and after doing some shopping we ended up going to see the Santa Justa life, the Arco de Rua Augusta, which was cool to take pictures of in front of the Arc and in the back but you are also for only 3 Euros able to go to the top and see the whole city! There was a lake or river in the background and on the other side a view of Belem Tower and other buildings and it is just incredible! Not only that they have this bell at the top that you can ring yourself!

Since we were there a short time and had to leave early the next day back to the U.S I don't think we did much but this shopping area was so cool because you could walk to everything and everything was close by! Also food and shopping was easy to reach! Honestly I can't remember much beyond visiting these sights, haha not because it wasn't memorable but because it's been a few months so I can't think of anything that stuck out to me! I definitely only wish I had had more time to see more sights but I enjoyed my time there!

Moral of the story, give yourself more than a day when visiting a country LOL

May you be given opportunities to travel and see Allah's creation!

Stay Blessed xoxo
